As the Boiling Springs, SC area rapidly grows, our fire department continues to depend on the help of volunteer firefighters to provide life-saving response coverage for our community. 

During  flexible shifts, volunteers are called upon to respond to local fires and assist with first response of vehicular accidents on our increasingly busy roads.

To support these heroes, we are now offering  $2,500/semester scholarships to students willing to serve a minimum of 250 hours (or approximately ten 24 hour shifts.)  

Volunteers will also receive valuable hands-on training and certification that opens career opportunities in public safety, criminal justice and related fields. 

No previous experience is required and volunteers may begin training as young as 16 years-old and serving once 18 or older.
